Inspired by the Las Culturistas Culture Awards' celebration of food's joyful chaos, this dish is part breakfast, part burger, all spectacle—a tongue-in-cheek 'Best Breakfast-for-Dinner' and 'Best Beef' winner in one. The recipe layers juicy beef patties, crispy bacon, runny eggs, gooey cheese, and all the playful fixings of an iconic breakfast sandwich, but serves it parfait-style for visual drama. No cilantro, mushrooms, onions, or gluten here—just California-grown flavor, a riot of textures, and a wink at food's ever-evolving place in pop culture. It's an edible trophy for your dinner table.
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange bacon slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until crisp, 15-18 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  2. In a medium bowl, gently mix ground beef, salt, garlic powder, and tamari. Form into 4 small patties. Heat a cast iron or heavy skillet over medium-high; sear patties 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove and rest.
  3. Wipe pan clean. Lower heat to medium-low. Melt 2 tbsp butter. Crack in eggs, season with a pinch of salt, and fry sunny-side up until whites set but yolks still runny, about 3 minutes.
  4. Split gluten-free English muffins. Toast with remaining butter until golden.
  5. Make the yogurt sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, Dijon, lemon juice, and maple syrup. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  6. To assemble parfaits: Layer as follows in wide glasses or jars—bottom with a toasted muffin half, then burger patty, sprinkle of cheese, a fried egg, bacon, arugula/spinach, cherry tomatoes, avocado, a dollop of yogurt sauce, and a few potato chips for crunch. Repeat layers if using tall glasses, or stack high on plates.
  7. Serve immediately, letting each bite capture breakfast, burger, and absurdist culture in one gloriously unhinged stack.
