Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Pat salmon fillets and shrimp dry with paper towels. Season both sides of salmon and shrimp generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 1.5 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add asparagus with a pinch of salt and cook, turning occasionally, until crisp-tender and slightly charred, 4-5 minutes. Transfer asparagus to a plate and tent with foil to keep warm.
  3. Add remaining 1.5 tbsp olive oil to the same skillet. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook without moving until skin is crispy and fish is mostly opaque, about 4 minutes. Flip and add shrimp to the pan.
  4. Cook salmon and shrimp together for 2-3 minutes, flipping shrimp halfway, until the salmon is just cooked through and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  5. Reduce heat to low. Add butter, garlic, parsley, dill, and lemon zest to the pan. Spoon the melting herb butter over the salmon and shrimp as it bubbles for 1-2 minutes. Squeeze lemon juice over everything.
  6. Serve salmon and shrimp atop asparagus. Spoon extra garlic-herb butter over the top and garnish with more fresh herbs if desired.
