Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Lightly coat with nonstick spray.
  2. Add ground beef in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding. Brown the meat, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully cooked and no pink remains (about 8-10 minutes). Drain excess fat if desired.
  3. Return all beef to the pan. Sprinkle in the taco seasoning packets and add 1 cup water. Stir well and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened and fragrant.
  4. Lay out tortillas on a clean work surface. Evenly portion the seasoned beef onto the center of each tortilla (about 6 oz cooked meat each).
  5. Top each with 6 tablespoons (about 1/3 cup) shredded cheese.
  6. Fold in the sides, then roll up tightly into burritos.
  7. Wrap each burrito individually in a sheet of aluminum foil. Label if desired.
  8. Let burritos cool slightly, then transfer to freezer bags or containers. Freeze until ready to use.
  9. To reheat from frozen: Unwrap burrito, place on a microwave-safe plate, and microwave on HIGH for 3-4 minutes, flipping halfway through. Or, reheat wrapped in foil in a 350°F oven for 40-50 minutes.
