This vibrant ground turkey stir-fry brings restaurant-style wok hei right to your kitchen, thanks to high-heat cooking and quick tossing. The turkey stays juicy and flavorful, while broccoli and red bell pepper add crunch and color. Aromatics like ginger, garlic, and green onion provide a bright, authentic backbone, and a final drizzle of sesame oil brings everything together. It’s quick, healthy, and perfect for a weeknight dinner — serve over rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps for a lighter option.
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Preheat a large skillet or wok over high heat until smoking hot for wok hei flavor.
  2. Add 1 tbsp oil, swirl to coat, and immediately add the ground turkey. Break it up and stir-fry until browned and just cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Remove to a plate.
  3. Add remaining 1 tbsp oil to the wok. Toss in the white parts of green onions, garlic, and ginger, stir-frying for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli and bell pepper. Stir-fry constantly, tossing with a scooping motion, for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  5. Return the turkey to the wok. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. Stir-fry everything together for 1-2 minutes until well combined and heated through.
  6. Remove from heat and drizzle with toasted sesame oil. Garnish with chopped green onion greens. Serve hot with steamed rice or as desired.
